Under the “Output” section, make sure your TV is selected as the default audio device. If it's not listed, try connecting the HDMI cable while the TV is turned on and see if it appears.

17 mar 2016 · a) Open run command by pressing Windows key + R and type “devmgmt.msc” (without quotes) and hit Enter. b) Spot and expand the “Sound, video and game controllers”. c) Right click on the High Definition Audio Device driver and select “Disable”. When it prompts to choose an option, click OK.

28 paź 2015 · This issue might occur if the driver for Samsung UE40F6400AW is not compatible with Windows 10. I suggest you to download and install the Samsung UE40F6400AW driver in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

If it isn't there you probably need to update the drivers for the graphic card hosting the HDMI port. Right-click the HDMI Output device for your TV connection and select "Test".
