11 wrz 2023 · My laptop does not recognize my TV as an audio output at all. It doesn't appear in the device manager or sound settings. I have already tried rebooting, restarting the Windows audio services, and checking the bios for any weird HDMI sound settings.

29 paź 2020 · I have a windows 10 laptop (Thinkpad E570) and a samsung smart tv (Samsung J6200). When I plug in an hdmi cable I can duplicate or extend the video just fine, but I can't get the sound to come out of the TV. It comes out of the laptop instead.
Select and hold (or right-click) the listing for your sound card or audio device, then select Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
8 wrz 2020 · Lenovo laptop and LG TV - plugging in the HDMI cable sends the screen output to the TV as the only display, but LG not available as a sound device. Use the function keys (FN+F7) to switch to display on both - sound option became available.
