27 lis 2018 · So I looked at this yesterday and I have to say, what a PITA to get to the valve for the trans cooler. Everything looks dry and no signs of a failed fitting leaking fluid into the wire harness. Gonna order and replace that valve and hopefully this fixed the code. Audi wants $200 for the part. Found an aftermarket on Amazon for $45.

6 lip 2017 · Hi, please check the gearbox cooling valve N509. Check if there is water in the electrical plug. If yes, replace it. The water goes from the valve through the cable to the plug of the gearbox. The Mechatronic connector is then full of cooling water. This results in a malfunction in the data bus.

18 paź 2017 · Got the solution if anyone else gets into this problem: The multifunction switch on the gearbox, under the car had water inside. This caused rust in the connector pins and faulty signals. Error message in display "Malfunction in Gearbox", Adaptive Cruise controll stopped working, Start/Stop and Error in Canbus, "Single wire mode".
7 wrz 2021 · They also said wiring loom to control valve wasn't delivering right voltage and had gone bad, which they replaced. But control valve itself was fine. On my way home gearbox did feel nice and smooth.
9 gru 2017 · So the P2754 code took me down the road of the Trans cooler control valve. And there I learn about the craziest automotive problem I have ever heard of. This valve can fail in a way that allows coolant to pass through to the wiring connection.
