There's most likely a more efficient way to fix it, but I just re-downloaded the game and it works now. I also had the problem on a secondary PC, but instead of downloading the whole thing again, I just copied over a bunch of files from the root install directory (including the new AtlanticaRun.exe) and that worked.

Basically when I go to run the game, every time I will get the “Game Version Failed” error, and soon after there’s another error mentioning BLOSSOMNINJA, which makes me think it’s because of the event but can’t say 100% that it’s the root cause.
