PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine which manages hardware states and PS2 system memory.

So I'm interested in playing PS2 games on my MacBook Pro (2015, 2.8Ghz, Intel i7, Mojave). PCSX2 seems to be the best PS2 emulator around, and the only one with a Mac version. Unfortunately the Mac version is an alpha build that hasn't been updated since 2012. (Will this even run on Mojave??)
