Turn on Microphone Privacy in each app. Select Start > Settings > Privacy > Microphone . In Allow access to the microphone on this device, select Change and make sure Microphone access for this device is turned on. Then, allow apps access to your microphone.

24 mar 2020 · Open Google Chrome. Now click on the Ellipses (three dots) on the right hand corner. Select Settings from the drop down and click on Privacy and security from the left pane. Now click on Microphone from the list. Select the Microphone you want to set as default as shown in the picture below.
Under the "Microphone Properties", I have volume set to 100 (not muted) and Microphone Boost set to +36.0 dB (I have tried the lower levels too). I do have things configured both in Windows 10 Settings and in the settings for each of those apps so that they have permission to use my microphone.
