12 kwi 2024 · If you experience that the sound is abnormal from the laptop speakers, speakers no sound, intermittent, no audio, or only human voices but no background music, etc., it might be turned on the ASUS AI Noise-Canceling feature, and it’s a normal phenomenon when this function is on.
But my 2021 G15 (Best Buy version) will make a terrible pop noise from the lower speakers when listening to certain sounds. It sounds just like a badly blown speaker. Music seems to trigger it pretty badly, usually when bass drums hit. It does it at even mid volume.
Is anyone having a right speaker popping sound, especially on the bass?!?! I got the new Zephyrus 15 (2021)(Ryzen 9 + RTX 3070) today and everything is great EXCEPT FOR THE RIGHT SPEAKER. I am not sure if this is a hardware or software issue. The drivers are all up to date according to the ASUSapp.
For some reason every couple of hours the sound on my 7 days old 2021 GA401QM starts to sound tinny and loses over 50% of its max volume. Restarting the laptop usually fixes it. Sometimes putting it into hibernation also fixes it.
