Your router/modem combo already effectively acts as switch already. This is one device vs. two, very easy to set up, works well, and although it could have more cool features like Juniper, I think the price is fair.
If you want a home router with one zone of WiFi (1200-1500 sq ft), as an IT person netgear is what I would pick If i was at Costco. Paying extra for 4x4:4 Mu-MIMO or better will benefit you more than WiFi 6 for the next few years

27 lip 2010 · I bought my G73 for $1199.99 from bestbuy. Despite the warranty compromise* I'm still impressed with the performance I got for my buck. Hardware priority. ASUS seems to understand that I want a fast processor* fast video card* and a large monitor with not necessarily the highest resolution for GAMING. Higher res means lower FPS.
