There is a stool on the top floor of the Arcane Tower in the Underdark, under the straw roof there, that if you break it will give you a weapon that sets your STR to 19. That's an automatic +4 modifier on your strength. Probably the easiest way to get a good bonus without using Elixirs.
DerikHallin. • 3 mo. ago • Edited 3 mo. ago. Assuming no respecs for simplicity, I'd go 5 Gloom Stalker Ranger --> 4 Assassin Rogue --> 3 Fighter. For the Ranger levels, you want Archery Fighting Style at 2nd level. Sharpshooter is probably the best Feat to pick at 4th level.
This is my gloomstalker assassin guide I did my solo HM run with. Start up rouge to lvl 3 assassin then up ranger to lvl 3 gloomstalker ranger pick up Alert and Sharpshooter feats. After level 6 progress in what you want.

24 lip 2023 · I’m planning to start with 5 levels of Ranger Gloom Stalker to get subclass features, Ability boost at level 4, and then extra attack at level 5. I’ll then switch to at least 3 levels of Rogue Assassin to get the subclass features.
