Appropriate pressure vessel codes? Mechanical. I’m working on a project that uses indoor commercial SS 50gal pressure vessels <100psi working pressure with a swinging lid and locking bolts. The design and lid locking aren’t well designed, so I need to redesign them among other things.
I mostly work with ASME section VIII for pressure vessels. It's huge and I'm having a lot of trouble digesting it and keeping it really ingrained in my head (work is really busy). Do you guys have any suggestions for learning the ASME code?
