Coach Certification Verification. Click on the appropriate link below to verify that your coaches have completed a CIF-approved coaching education program, including the CIF rules exam. CIF/NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching (online course) CIF/ASEP Coaching Principles (classroom and online courses)
ASEP Verification. Administrators can verify whether any coaches have met their ASEP requirement prior to May 15, 2013 by searching in the National Coaches Registry at the following link: ASEP Search. A coach must have passed both "Coaching Principles" and "Sport First Aid" prior to May 15, 2013 to be exempt from the NFHS requirement.
OSAA Football Certification. Annual - required every year (only for football coaches) Required by OSAA Board Policy. Composed of 4 course components that must be completed annually: Concussion in Sports, Heat Illness Prevention, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, & Football Tackling.
