10 wrz 2021 · Yep, you're spot on. Steel is corrosive and will rust when exposed to water and moisture. As an engineer, using steel in a hottub frame always sounded like a bad idea. But hey, steel is cheap and cost-effective from a manufacturing standpoint.
I'm not sure about that specific model but we love our American Whirlpool 6 person hot tub. We've had it about 3 years with no issues at all and use it daily.
4 mar 2021 · The other tub I really liked is the American Whirlpool 481. I liked this tub for similar reasons as the Bullfrog. The construction seems good with the ABS base, steel frame, and insulation that looks easy to remove for servicing. The seating was also comfortable and fit me well.
