Field Uniform (Class “A”) The field uniform (sometimes referred to as the Class “A”) is the official uniform of the Boy Scouts of America as defined in the Boy Scout Handbook. It includes pants or shorts, shirt (with patches properly sewn as described in the Uniform Inspection Sheet),
