Ars poetica ¹ . Gdzieżeś, Muzo, co niegdyś twych czasów płomieniem Grzałaś pierś, które śpiewy dzisia eszcze słyną, Twórczość, Poez a, Poeta Gdzie śpiewak, co w swe czasy unosi wspomnieniem, Kędy te czasy, Muzo⁈ Muzo nad ruiną? Ty znikłaś, znikł twó śpiewak, lecz pieśni nie giną!

Archiloch (VII w. p.n.e.) — grecki poeta, znany ze złośliwych wierszy pisanych rytmem jambicznym. Według legendy miały one doprowadzić do samobójstwa człowieka, który odmówił mu ręki swojej córki.
