Be careful when choosing a CSP. I seem to be the only one with a bad experience with a CSP, however they do exist, and every soldier needs to be aware of the red flags so to say about CSP programs. It is a new CSP and no one has entered the "program " before.
The successful completion of a CSP program can change the course of a soon-to-be-veteran's life forever. Robbing a single-term soldier of that opportunity only reflects poorly on the branch as a whole.
It's a program for soldiers leaving the army where you can use the last (up to) 6 months of your contract and do a training program or internship with a civilian business to set you up for work after the army.
You can practically submit any company with the CSP. When I went through you can choose a company that has a relationship with the CSP or submit one to get vetted by the program.
TLDR: Army senior leaders are crippling the CSP program and it negatively impacts the perception of the Army and DOD
CSP recommendations (self.army) submitted 6 months ago by Intelligent-Bass-670. I'm a little over a year away from my ETS date and just found out about the career skills program. After doing some research it seems like a great opportunity.
