23 sty 2024 · PMAG's have been just as reliable for me as Lancers, but Lancers work in more non-AR 5.56 guns than PMAGs do. Gen 2 PMAG's will damage the SCAR 16. Gen 3 PMAG's won't work in certain guns with weird magwells due to the overtravel stop (like the Beretta ARX-100)
5 lis 2020 · After the Clinton AWB expired and new 20rd mags could be made again, ArmaLite eventually made a 7.62 PMAG-compatible AR-10A, which is what they sell now. I’ve personally gotten away from large frame AR-10s for the most part because of 6.5 Grendel.
9 mar 2011 · Armalite ships this AR-15 rifle with a Goldilocks trigger: Not so heavy that it throws off your aim, and not so light that it gets the job finished quicker than a jackrabbit on a date. I’m sure it contributed to the rifle’s excellent accuracy.

If you’re trying to pinch a few pennies all while sacrificing exactly nothing in quality and features, the Armalite M-15 Tactical is definitely worth a close look.

But featureless rifles make it legal for residents of CA and NY (and probably more) to own AR-15 style firearms with accessible magazine releases. The biggest differences you’ll see are no pistol grip, non-adjustable buttstock, and no flash hider.
