It's a mod that allows for an alternative way to tame dinos by giving them bait that gradually increases their trust with the player until eventually they are tamed. To respond to the second post. The mod is neither single player nor pve exclusive.
Step one: get 4 metal Dino gates and assemble three of them in three sides to form the shape of a trapezoid with no base. It helps a lot to have it on flat and even ground. Step two: find an Acrocanthosaurus and lead it into your trap.
Immersive Taming: This works for the most part, but you need to set it so that only babies can be tamed. Many of the wandering adult dinos are coded differently than the babies, which allows for the enhanced AI and behavior, so they shouldn't be tamed.
