You will need tames for the tributes for the boss arena. I would recommend using a wyvern for the land tributes and a tuso or basilo for the water. For the boss arena it's very straight forward. You will need a very good shotgun (high dura and high damage) plus about 1000 shotgun rounds for Alpha.

You will need to have one of these items to enter the arena. However, the required number of Tribute items is different for each variation of bosses.
