This car is coming from a completely stock set up except for a basic tune from VMP as well as a Rousch intake. Right now, the car is sitting at 69K miles and no mechanical issues at all.

18 kwi 2007 · By far the cheapest, most thorough and simplest way to add a turbo to your N/A Mustang is to purchase a donor car and swap everything over. The first choice would be a '87-'88 Thunderbird TurboCoupe. They come with a factory 195 hp turbo'd 2.3, T5 and 8.8 rearend with disc brakes and 3.55:1 gears.
28 maj 2003 · I'm not looking to race but to have a fun daily driver. It currently has the 200 with the 3 spd. and the 3 spd is miserable. California mustang has a T5 conversion kit. But for that price I can get a 2.3 attached to a T5.
1983 Ford Mustang Turbo GT. 1983 also introduced the 3 door GT Turbo model variant. It was powered by a 2.3L Turbo engine that was good for 145 hp. The Turbo GT was a very nice handling car and could easily keep up with the V8 on twisty backroads. Definitely an underrated model.
