I need to find the arcsin(2/3) but I need it to be written in aπ/b. I'm having a real hard time finding out how to do this. Any suggestions?
Arcsine only returns angles between −π 2 and π 2. These are in the fourth and first quadrants. Arcsine is an inverse function for sine for these angles. sin(π 6) = 1 2. arcsin(1 2) = π 6. arcsin(sin(π 6)) = π 6. When angles are outside [−π 2, π 2], then the Arcsine brings them back into this interval. sin(5π 6) = 1 2.
