Striving for flexibility, the ArcGIS StoryMaps builder supports a number of popular image types: GIF, JPEG, PNG, and SVG.
You can add images and videos to the story or collection from a local file or a web link. You can add them in the story cover, the body of a story, and immersive content blocks.
