14 lut 2014 · Offensive Arcanine runs a much better mixed set than Charizard Y in my opinion because Charizard Y just doeasn't have that good if an attack stat. It also does mixed better than Charizard X because it usually runs a set-up sweeper set which can't afford to go mixed and it doesn't get Draco meteor.
The Arcanine that I use competitively is Adamant w/ 252 Hp + Atk. Moveset is Extreme Speed, Flare Blitz, Wild Charge, and Morning Sun (only obtainable through breeding with an Espeon I believe) but the point in this set is that morning sun goes 252 Hp and with recoil damage, hence FB and WC, no EVs in speed cause he's already decently quick and ...

To help stop recoil damage, and to boost the relatively terrible Physical attack options that Arcanine has besides Flare Blitz. I really like Drain Punch on Arcanine, to meet the recovery move requirement and the good type coverage.
