Budget and feeding the pack teams is very relevant, but there’s a discrepancy between the PHB and the DMG regarding how much it costs to feed your animals. Don’t have my source books right now, but here’s the cost from the table in the PHB: PHB: Feed (per day) … 5cp … 10 lbs. Ok, 10 lbs of feed per day, 5cp. Presumably that’s for one animal (?).
