18 lut 2011 · It's time to paint the bottom of the boat again. I've been using a solvent based multi-season ablative for the last 10 years. Been seeing some good deals on water based ablatives (Aquaguard, WM Pure Oceans, Petitt Hydrocoat, etc.) and was wondering if those that have used them have found them to work as well as the solvent based types.
Is any one familiar with this product? I like the idea of using the most environmentally friendly bottom paint as possible, but still want reasonable performance. They also state that it can be applied a year before launch. Thanks
18 lut 2010 · In this test, seven such paint were priced at about $120 or less: Blue Waters Copper Shield 45 and Aqua Shield 45, Flexdel Aquaguard, Interlux Bottomkote ACT, Interlux Bottomkote, West Marine CPP Plus, and Sea Hawk Monterrey.
24 maj 2021 · Johnstone’s Trade Aqua Guard is a range of water-based paints used to coat interior woodwork such as doors, windows, skirting board, and other trim. It’s an upgrade on Johnstone’s Aqua (which I know is a bit confusing). This range is mostly used by Professional Decorators, but it’s available to anyone.
