Once in Riften, simply ask around about the gem. Eventually, the Dragonborn will be directed to speak with Vex, a member of the Thieves' Guild who reveals that the unusual gem is in fact a Stone of Barenziah, and that there are 24 of them in total.
28 lis 2011 · I found 2 Unusual Gems (one I found in Kodlak's Room). So I got a quest to bring that gem to house mark near Riften. When I reach there, the house door is locked and only unlocked with key! Am I missing something? What am I supposed to do?
28 paź 2016 · This simple mod adds quest markers to all 24 of the Stones of Barenziah (Unusual Gems) that you need to find/collect for the "No Stone Unturned" quest. The markers are only added after you take an "Unusual Gem" to Vex, and she gives you the objective to find all 24 of them.
21 mar 2018 · The quest is "Bring the Unusual Gem to an appraiser", which appears when you find an unusual gem. You are directed to Riften, and when asking about that gem all around:
Find one of the 24 "Unusual Gems" scattered throughout Skyrim. Become a full member of the Thieves Guild (if not one already). Have the gem appraised by Vex at The Ragged Flagon in Riften. Collect the remaining stones of a full set and return to Vex. Retrieve the Crown of Barenziah and return to Vex. Detailed Walkthrough
Stones of Barenziah are a widely scattered collection of twenty-four gemstones in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that are found across Skyrim. Prior to appraisal, each Stone of Barenziah is labeled as an "Unusual Gem."
So I found one of those "unusual gems" for the first time, and it told me to get it appraised. I searched the web and it said to take it to Riften and just ask around about it, but I can't find anyone to tell me anything about the gem. Can someone help me out? Thanks!
