22 kwi 2020 · A long-press using the trackpad on the down arrow to the far right of the typing bar does not summon the on screen keyboard, so this feels like a software bug. Only a restart resolves the issue, until the next time it happens, which seems to be at random and not reproducible.

21 sty 2021 · Sometimes when clicked, the cursor will randomly jump across the screen. Sometimes it comes back to life on it's own, but sometimes it's the same after a hard restart. Done a factory reset and the issue remains. Also happens in safe mode. Suspect it's a hardware fault. Returning to Apple for replacement.
