4 cze 2024 · You get an alert that Apple Software Update has stopped working. You get a message that your PC has a driver or service that isn't ready for this version of Windows. Your Mac starts up to a black or blue screen after you install Windows.
Check for updates using the Apple Software Update app. In Windows on your Mac, click the Start menu, then choose Apple Software Update. If updates are available, select the updates you want to install, then click Install. Follow the onscreen instructions.
UPDATE: What worked perfectly is use Windows 10 1511 (<4.7GB) and as soon as it's finished, do an in-place upgrade to 22H2, simply using the files from the most recent Windows Media Creation Tool ISO (copied to a USB stick for speed). Don't connect to a network or do any updates to 1511, wait until 22H2 is finished!
12 sie 2023 · I am running Win 10 Pro on an external USB-C SSD. The iMac is a 2019 27in Retina 5K with Core i5 and Radeon Pro 570X. I am not using any external displays. If it helps, I followed this tutorial for the installation process. Windows works fine and so do most basic apps including Office.
