On your Mac, use Desktop & Dock settings to change the appearance of the Dock, and to choose settings for the desktop, Stage Manager, widgets, windows, and Mission Control. To change these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Desktop & Dock in the sidebar.

10 gru 2019 · As expected, all or the desktop settings reverted to their defaults. I set everything up as before, then restarted again. As usually happens, all of the settings I changed are retained, except for the desktop icon placement.
6 lip 2013 · System Icon default size is below that and would be 64. Note that the desktop "folder" is special and has it's own settings. That means you can't just look for 'gridSpacing' and get the right one. The desktop settings are at: DesktopViewSettings -> IconViewSettings -> gridSpacing.
27 lut 2020 · Open the window by double-clicking on the Desktop disk icon. Change the window size to what you want and reposition the window where you want it locate. If you now close the window and re-open the same as earlier, then it should open with your new settings.
12 paź 2019 · It is a royal pain to fix all of them, but you can restore the folder icon for each individual folder easily: 1) select a folder with a "good" icon. 2) "get info" (Command-I) on the folder. 3) click on the folder icon in the upper left corner and copy it (Command-C) 4) Select a folder with a "bad" icon and "get info".
