CITATION IN MLA VS. APA. Outside sources are listed on a separate page at the end of a paper. This is called a Works Cited page in MLA, and a Reference page in APA. Sources are usually listed alphabetically by the authors’ last names. If no author is listed, it is sorted by its title.
