AOC East (AOC stands for Appellation d'Origine Controllee, not the ignorant version) is a nice little bistro on the east side of First Avenue between 82nd and 83rd Streets in Manhattan. It has a lot of charm, with a bar area and a restaurant area, and with live music on some nights.
