The nearest bus stop is on Main Street about 350 metres from the terminal near the petrol station (see google.com/maps). Line 42 runs along this street, terminating at East Bus Station in St. John's. The bus does not go directly to the terminal and is not a convenient form of transport for travellers with large luggage.
Bus:Some local buses operate along Sir George Walter Highway to and from St John's, but the stop is some distance from the terminal – this mode of transport is not recommended for passengers with heavy bags. Taxi:Taxis (tel: +1 268 784 2653 and +1 268 562 0262) are available for hire to local hotels and St John's (journey time: 10-15 minutes).
