The Career Technical Education Division is geared toward preparing students for entry-level positions, and an opportunity for those in professional roles seeking to gain skills and knowledge in today's competitive workplace.
cAREER teCHNICAL EDUCATION. Antelope Valley Adult Education offers individuals in our community an opportunity to advance professionally through quality, low-cost career technical education programs in the clerical/secretarial, medical, dental and technology fields.
The college offers Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees in 71 fields as well as certificate programs in 59 vocational areas. The main campus in Lancaster hosts the satellite location of California State University, Bakersfield-Antelope Valley (CSUB-AV), where students can obtain bachelor's and master's degrees in select subjects.
From its humble beginnings in a classroom at Antelope Valley Joint Union High School in 1929 with an enrollment of 20 students, Antelope Valley College has grown to a campus of 135 acres; has a large academic center in Palmdale; aeronautic programs at Fox Field; an early college program in partnership with the high school

Career Care Institute originated in the Antelope Valley in 1998 and has since expanded to Oxnard and Moreno Valley serving the Southern California area.
