It’s a tweak called Anne, which allows you to lock your hidden photos album with FaceID/TouchID (passcode will not let you in). As of version 1.0.1, it works in all apps that use the stock photo picker.
I could have got the iPhone 7 for free. I had just bought a 6s though, and the 64GB iPhone 7 was free at Verizon with the trade from a 6s. I didn't really see the point though, yeah it was a bit faster, but it was like they wanted me to give up that headphone jack.
I am still using an iPhone 7. It needs a new battery but has for quite awhile now apparently, it is sitting at about 77% currently. I've never replaced it and have had it for a number of years.

My iPhone 7+ started having issues when I allowed the iOS 15.8 updat in early February. The phone and camera functions both started having issues bugging out after the phone had been on for a while. The functions are temporarily restored after restarting the phone.
