Create a folder like "Fonts" in internal storage, then go to MX Player -> Settings -> Subtitles -> Font Folder and choose the folder you've just created. Then copy and paste all fonts to this folder. Now just play the video file and open the subtitle. You'll see that all fonts are loaded.
Where to find subtitles only. As title says, need a place where I can download only English subtitles for specific episodes. Like AnimeTosho as example where you can search for anime and under tab "All Attachments" download only subs.
For currently airing stuff https://animetosho.org/ is an option. Automatically rips subtitles from English releases. To get it, click the entry and search for the Subtitles/Attachments link.
