Pixar Animation Studios. 1994–present. During production of Toy Story in 1994, Pixar began referring to itself as Pixar Animation Studios, and dropped the square logo in favor of a wordmark set in the Charlemagne Bold typeface. This logo was created by current Pixar CCO Pete Docter.
