Angel is my favorite show of all time, and I’m trying to figure out some good symbols for a tattoo send up of the character. There’s obviously the griffin, claddagh ring, the Angel investigators symbol, his claymore, and the Buffy verse vamp teeth.
Since vampires heal so well, wouldn’t they not scar? Surely, they’d be covered in them with all the stabbings and empalings. And this made me wonder about Angel’s tattoo as well. Wouldn’t his body reabsorb the ink?
30 cze 2023 · The earlier instance of his tattoo appearing was during the episode "Angel" (1997); he never appears shirtless in any flashback. After it, the tattoo is only ever mentioned to identify Angel as himself, like when Wesley recognizes him in "Through the Looking Glass."

Why does Angel have a tattoo? If he was turned in the 1700's and cursed in the 1800's, it seems unlikely that he would have a tattoo, nevermind a large Celtic-themed tattoo. I know it's t.v. from the late '90's, but he wouldn't have gotten a tattoo when he was alive.
