The Trustee also administers the Tax Relief Program and Tax Freeze Program for the county and its cities.
13 kwi 2024 · Property owners have several options for paying their taxes in Anderson County. They may pay in person at either the Anderson or Powdersville location of the County Treasurer's office. Payments may be made in cash, check (payable to Anderson County Treasurer), or debit/credit card.
17 mar 2020 · The option to pay online by e-check will also have the convenience fee waived. A drop box has been set up in the main entrance at the Anderson County Courthouse Annex if you choose to pay in person. The only forms of payment that will be accepted at the Annex are checks and/or money orders.
Tax bills are mailed out to the property owners at the end of September and collection begins October 1st of each year. We no longer mail tax bills to mortgage companies. If you have questions concerning your tax bill please call the office at (502)839-4021 between 7am-5pm Monday through Friday.
