Tax Search. In order to locate all delinquent Personal Property taxes, you must search by Name or Tax ID#. If delinquent taxes are owed, you must pay the oldest tax year first.
Payment Options. Tax payments may be paid in person at either one of our Anderson or Powdersville locations. Payments may be in the form of cash, check (payable to Anderson County Treasurer), or debit/credit card. Convenience fees apply to all tax payments made using a debit or credit card. Payments may be made through the mail via check only.

If you are a resident of Anderson County, you can file your vehicle with the Anderson County Auditor’s Office (to get a tax bill) and pay your vehicle’s taxes to the Anderson County Treasurer at the same time by visiting one of our convenient locations.
The County Treasurer or tax collector mails property tax bills during the fall of each year. You may pay your taxes by mail, or in person at the County Treasurer’s office. You may also pay your taxes online by credit card (for a fee).
