No, it doesn't. It unlocks the ancient Library - which is directly behind mirror pond where Hekla and Jina sit all the time. It is part of the quest Masks as well. I'm here because she won't give up her key even though I'm at level 3, and can't get in to finish the quest so I was looking for insight lol.
