The first use of the Hebrew language is recorded in Genesis 1.3 where God says, rwa yhy(yehiy or), meaning, "light exist". In the creation account God gave Hebrew names to the sky (shamayim), land (erets), sun (shemesh), moon (yerey'ach), stars (kokhaviym) and man (adam).
