The World Chess Championship 2010 match pitted the defending world champion, Viswanathan Anand, against challenger Veselin Topalov, for the title of World Chess Champion. The match took place in Sofia , Bulgaria from 24 April to 13 May 2010, with a prize fund of 2 million euros (60% to the winner). [ 2 ]

17 wrz 1994 · Viswanathan Anand won a very hard fought match 6.5-5.5 against his challenger Veselin Topalov to retain his title. In the final game Topalov's quest for complications led to trouble and he couldn't recover from a bad blunder.
30 sty 2010 · Anand seems to play extremely solid chess, not too many great risks, just expanding within the position versus Toplaov's more agressive demeanor.
