Spend an hour in the museum and then walk downstairs and out the rear door to view a number of reconstructed 18th century homes. A pleasant park like setting, with a duck pond is the setting for the homes. Sam Houston's final home is just up the hill. We understood that admission was being limited to 10 visitors.
