According to Topalov’s team, upwards of 50 although this was never confirmed. In response, the two players' private bathrooms were locked.
So two players did get in a fight in at the 2020 Gibraltar event. As far as I know they both spent a night in the cell and were then released, with no further incident. They're amateur players, not famous GMs, so I see no reason for them to be named.
