23 kwi 2021 · I’ve been on the hunt for an easy DIY 18” dollhouse for some time now. I found this IKEA upper kitchen cabinet 24″ (Height) x 40″ (Length) x 14 3/4″ (Deep) in the IKEA bargain area for $10 (normal retail price $40) and brought it home a while ago.
Question for IKEA Pax dollhouses. Quick question for those of you who have tried the IKEA Pax storage frames for your dollhouses: Did you have to find additional hardware for the shelving (the shelves that divide into rooms)?

I bought a set of Besta with the intention to use them to store my dolls, but IKEA is 4 hours away and a closet needed them more. I don't have any photos to share, but I want to say that they are a great size if you have furniture or want dolls to stand up.
I cannot find acrylic display boxes that are big enough for the doll. The closest I’ve come to a solution are the ‘Milsbo’ or ‘Rudsta’ glass display cabinets from IKEA. They have adjustable shelving to make enough room for the dolls on stands.
