To report a phishing or unsolicited email to Amazon, open a new email and attach the email that you suspect is fake. Send the email to reportascam@amazon.com. Sending the suspicious email as an attachment is the best way for us to track it.
Fake Amazon Customer Service Scams: A scammer poses as a Customer Service agent claiming that you must buy a gift card and/or provide your personal details, to unfreeze your Amazon account. Amazon will never call you to request sensitive information, or ask you to purchase gift cards.
