The C is a cut-way, which, as I understand it, has pros and cons - better access to the higher frets, but slightly poorer tone. Do you think a slightly poorer tone (probably very minor) will make that much of a difference for a beginner?

3 lis 2008 · Even if you use the "1/2 of what it's worth new" formula you'd end up with $365($630+$100 for case=$730) for my guitar with case. If you go with the higher price for the RD8($250 w/case) and half it you get $125. $365-$125 is $240 difference in cost between my guitar and his guitar.
6 maj 2023 · Just picked up an Alvarez rd8 second hand and put some medium d'addario strings on it. While I was putting them on I had to weigh down the pegs from shooting out when tightening and after I started playing noticed that it was a mfer to play.
