4 sty 2009 · The "wires" probably detach from the assembly so that you can pull the preamp system out of the guitar and set it on a table to change the battery (if need be). Contact Alvarez or contact an online retailer who sells that model. I'll bet they would give you some clear answers.
11 sie 2005 · You do get the case with the RD8. I would get the better guitar and worry about the case later. If it's easy to play, sounds good and looks good you're more likely to pick it up and play it. And later on as your ear develops, you will be able to tell the difference in tone between guitars.
