Playing the AD60 while seated, the guitar is no more cumbersome than any other regular dreadnought you’ve played. However, using a strap (thanks Alvarez for fitting two buttons!), the extra couple of millimetres of depth is noticeable and the AD60 feels a smidgen bulky.

I was even impressed with the quality of that guitar and the tone was especially nice. So I've had my eye on this Alvarez AD60CK Dao guitar and wanted to know if anyone has played one and if it has nice tone and feel.

Pros: Good quality tonewood. Real bone nut makes tone much better. Cons: Strings.
21 kwi 2004 · Alvarez AD60CK. Reviews. Tweet. I think this is a great guitar for the money. In some ways I even like it better than my Alvarez FD60AMB. Then again, it will by nature sound different since the FD60 is MAPLE and a thinner body. Koa gives a nice sound, and that was a big reason why I chose this guitar.
