19 cze 2020 · For general use it isn't a problem, as I can hit the open apps button to go back to the home screen. I do like it visually better than a double din unit, as it fits in the original dash, and I did not have to cut, drill or alter any of the metal in the dash. As installs go, it was pretty easy.
7 wrz 2021 · New 1.5 DIN head unit option. Found this over on the Corvette Forum - some C5 folks are excited about having found a head unit that's single-DIN with a centrally-mounting 8.8" touchscreen display that can fit entirely behind a 1.5 DIN-height bezel.

5 lip 2007 · I thought I recall some expensive Kenwood or Alpine replacements that people were using… However, it very well may be the Pioneer models you listed. The new Grand Cherokees have a built in GPS – you might want to check out something like that to see if it works for your pickup.
10 lut 2020 · In most cases, 1.5 DIN car radios need to be replaced by either 1.5 DIN or single DIN aftermarket units. However, there are a few situations where it may be possible to install a full double DIN unit.
2 sty 2013 · I researched the heck out of 1.5 DIN units and finally gave up and I am sticking with the Chrysler stock RBQ HU. Insane Audio wants $1K for their unit, which appears to me to be a rebadged Koolertron.
26 paź 2021 · If your head unit is 3” tall, then you can replace it with a 1.5 DIN head unit or a single DIN unit with the appropriate kit. In some cases, you can also replace a 1.5 DIN head unit with a full double DIN head unit with the right dash kit.
