Mobile Task Force (also known as MTF) is a Combatant Team. They are the SCP Foundation's elite soldiers tasked with protecting the Foundation from outside attacks and re-containing SCPs. Their primary mission is to protect SCPs from escaping, avoid containment breaches, and re-contain breached SCPs.

MTF α-9 (Alpha-9), nicknamed "Last Hope", is a Mobile Task Force that heavily utilizes SCP assets within its operations. Considered a resurrection of MTF Omega-7 "Pandora's Box", MTF Alpha-9 is led by Dr. Sophia Light and was created in light of attacks from several powerful Groups of Interest.

Alpha-1 is the highest-ranking MTF within the SCP Foundation and is tasked with direct involvement in high-priority and high-risk operations, and as such, is the only MTF sub-unit that requires players to possess Level-3 Security Clearance to be able to play.

MTFs, alongside their combative sibling (Suppression & Prevention), tend to be frontline fighters and, like SD, are a formidable force to go against. Each Mobile Task Force share the commonality of them being used for one specialized purpose, as the generalist duties are often given to the Suppression & Prevention.
